Former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa's bail plea hearing has been adjourned till Friday by the Karnataka High Court on Monday. The Single Bench Judge Justice B V Pinto heard arguments of Counsels for Yeddyurappa and co-accused and former Minister Krishnaiah Shetty. Both are facing Judicial custody and seeking bail in land denotification case filed by Sirajin Basha.AIR Correspondent reports that the Judge heard the argument from Tony Sabastian, the Counsel for Krishnaiah Shetty and directed him to continue his argument on October 28.Earlier in the day, the Counsel for Yeddyurappa had withdrawn application for interim bail and sought regular bail from the court. Yeddyurappa’s advocate Jayakumar Patil had on Friday sought a three-day interim bail so that Yeddyurappa could spend Diwali with his family at home.However the counsel for complainant Hanumanthaya had opposed Yeddyurappa's interim bail plea on the ground that the former Chief Minister could influence key witnesses.The Lokayuktha court probing the denotification case against Yeddyurappa and Krishnaiah Setty had extended their judicial custody till November 3. Both the accused have appealed to High Court against Lokayuktha court's order.
