In a move towards breaking the political logjam in Karnataka and to bring the dissident leaders to the negotiating table, Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today transferred his Principal Secretary V P Baligar. The Chief Project Officer of Karnataka Highway Development project I S N Prasad has been nominated in his place and Baligar is now Principal Secretary, Industry and Commerce. Baligar had been the target of attack by the Janardhana Reddy faction.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, the media reports of resignation by MLAs loyal to Janardhana Reddy faction has been denied by sources close to him. The sources added that all these MLAs have given written consent to abide by whatever decision taken by Janardhan Reddy.<br/><br/>The Chief Minister Yeddyurappa has cancelled the meeting of council of ministers and the cabinet meeting that was scheduled for today in Bangalore. The Chief Minister has also postponed his return journey from Delhi and now is expected to reach the state capital on Friday evening.
