Yeddyurappa moves HC seeking bail

In Karnataka, a Special Lokayukta court today adjourned the hearing of the third land scam case filed against former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa till 29th of this month. Out of five cases filed against Yeddyurappa and his family members by Sirajin Basha on irregularities in land denotification case, the court has rejected bail in two cases. In the third case that was taken up today Judge N K Sudhindra Rao looked into the Lokayukta police report which investigated the allegations against Yeddyurappa. The court directed the Lokayuktha police to index the findings and submit it tomorrow.Meanwhile Yeddyurappa submitted bail plea application in High court today against the lower court order in the two cases. Justice B V Pinto of Karnataka High Court may take up the application tomorrow. Yeddyurappa is undergoing treatment in Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology where he was shifted from Jail this afternoon.
