Chief Minister of Karnataka B S Yeddyurappa expressed satisfaction on completion of three years in office on Monday. Speaking at a media interaction on ocassion, he said despite various attempts to topple his government, the progress achieved is unprecedented. He pointed out that agriculture growth rate which was 1.5 percent when he took over had touched six percent last year. He stressed that law and order has improved and there are no incidents of communal violence since now. He informed that they have succeeded in controlling 90 percent of illegal mining. He said rural infrastructure development will be his highest priority in the next two years. He said a booklet comprising of his government’s achievements will be released Tuesday. On the Advisory received from the Union Home Ministry, he said it is a confidential letter to him and a confidential reply will be sent to the Central Government Monday evening.
