Yeddyurappa , CM both arrive in Delhi

BJP leader B S Yeddyurappa arrived in the capital to mount further pressure for his reinstatement while Karnataka Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda ruled out his own
removal.

Yeddyurappa who arrived in Delhi on Wednesday said that he has not set any ultimatum or deadline to the party and left it to the leadership to take any decision.

Gowda, who was also summoned to the capital, said in Bangalore that there will be no change of guard in Karnataka. He said that the discussions in Delhi would be centred around the causes that led to the defeat of BJP candidate in the Uudpi-Chikmagalur bye-election.

AIR Bangalore correspondent reports that the MLAs loyal to Yeddyurappa had intensified their campaign for reinstatement ever since the Karnataka High Court set aside the Lokayukta order on illegal mining.

The order had indicted him which lead to his stepping down as Chief Minister in last August. BJP sources say the party national President Nitin Gadkari and other leaders will hold a meeting with Yeddyurappa today in New-Delhi.
