Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa met the BJP central leadership in New Delhi late on Friday along with State Party President and some other state BJP leaders over his resignation on the controversial land allotment issue.The meeting was held at BJP President Nitin Gadkari's residence. Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley told newspersons after the meeting that National leaders would meet again to take a decision on the matter.Party sources said the matter might be discussed in the Central Core Group of BJP to take a final decision. BJP Parliamentary Party Chairman L K Advani is in Mumbai and is likely to return to New Delhi on Sunday. Yedyurappa has been summoned by the party high command in the midst of growing pressure for his resignation in a land allotment case despite his son and daughter surrendering the land allotted to them. This is the second time that the BJP Core Group would be meeting to discuss the issue of resignation of Yedyurappa following charges of corruption. He, however, ruled out his resignation saying that the State Cabinet had already taken a decision to order a judicial probe into the land allotments.
