Narendra Modi Government has given a special focus on the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, MSME sector after coming to power in 2014. &nbsp;<br />”<br />”Government has taken a number of initiatives under Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan to support the MSME Sector in the country especially in COVID pandemic.<br />”<br />”Some of them are 20-thousand crore rupee Subordinate Debt for MSMEs, and three-lakh crore rupee Collateral-free Automatic Loans for business, including MSMEs. Other measures include 50-thousand crore rupee equity infusion through MSME Fund of Funds and new revised criteria for the classification of MSMEs.<br />”<br />”Speaking at an event in January this year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, several major steps have been taken for micro, small and medium industries under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Campaign.<br />”<br />”AIR correspondent reports,The MSME sector is an important sector of the Indian economy.
