Veteran scientist Yash Pal and Chandrayaan project director M Annadurai have been selected for this year's H K Firodia Awards.While Yash Pal has been honoured for his contribution to science communication and education, Annadurai was chosen for his significant role in the successful Chandrayaan-I mission. The awards were instituted in 1996 in the memory of late H K Firodia, the doyen of the Indian automobile industry.
