The prestigious national Kishore Kumar award will be presented to noted film maker Yash Chopra for the year 2009-10 while national Lata Mangeshkar award will be given to noted play back singer Anuradha Paudwal. These awards are given by the Madhya Pradesh government every year. A jury constituted by the Madhya Pradesh government unanimously chose names of Yash Chopra and Anuradha Paudwal. Both the awards consist of two lakh cash and a citation.
