The water level in river Yamuna is on the decline although the river continues to flow above the danger mark. According to officials the river is flowing at 205.64 meters, 81 centimeters above the danger level. Heavy rainfall and steady release of water from the Hatinikund Barrage in Haryana led to Yamuna crossing the danger level. The national capital has received 889 mm of rainfall this season, 47 percent above the normal. The Met department predicts partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain and thundershowers in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 33 and 25 degree respectively.
