Yamuna in Delhi recedes further

With water level in river Yamuna receding further, people evacuated from the low lying areas are moving back to their houses. Delhi Government officials told AIR that out of the 4,000 people in relief camps, 1,000 have already moved back. Remaining people are expected to leave the camps in the next couple of days. The river is currently flowing at 205 metres, just 17 centimeters above the danger mark. According to the Flood Control Department, the water level will continue to decline further.
