Yamuna continues to flow over danger mark in Delhi

Yamuna continues to flow over danger mark with water level increasing to around 206 meters. According to Flood Control department, Haryana government has informed that it will not release additional water from its Hathinikund barrage. This will help stabilise the water level. According to Delhi government, people living in low lying areas have been shifted to safer places and provided with tented accommodation. They are also being provided free healthcare and essential items. A 24-hour flood control room has been set up in the Geeta Colony to keep a vigil on the water level.
