Yakub Memon got opportunity to prove innocence: Rajnath Singh

Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said that it has never happened before in the history of world when a nation's Supreme Court heard somebody's mercy petition at 2 O' clock in the night. Talking to reporters in New Delhi on the hanging of Yakub Memon, he said, there cannot be any system more transparent than this. Mr Singh said that Memon got all opportunity prove his innocence. <br/><br/>He further added that terrorism should be taken as challenge and the country should not look divided on the issue in anyway. Mr Singh said, it is only the united country which can defeat terrorism. The Home Minister said, he was confident that the Rajya Sabha will be in order when he made a statement on Gurdaspur terror attack in the House but there was uproar.
