In Andhra Pradesh, Kadapa Lok Sabha member Y S Jaganmohan Reddy today expressed his desire to quit Congress party. In an open letter to Congress President Sonia Gandhi this morning, Jaganmohan Reddy, son of late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy has said he will be resigning from Lok Sabha well as party membership. The letter revealed that he would send his resignations to Lok Sabha Speaker later during the day. He has been increasingly hostile towards party high command for the past few days. He continued his Consoling Tour against the wishes of high command and a television channel owned by him launched negative campaign against party leadership. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is slated to hold a meeting with Praja Rajyam Party President Chiranjeevi apparently to acquire support for his new Government. He is going to constitute his cabinet on Wednesday.Law Minister and AICC in-charge of Andhra Pradesh M Veerappa Moily said Jaganmohan Reddy's decision to resign from Congress party and Lok Sabha is most unfortunate.
