The Indo-American duo of Sania Mirza and Bethanie Mattek-Sands bowed out of women's doubles quarter-finals of the WTA Sony Open tennis tournament. The Indo-American duo lost to Italian duo Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci last night in the first two straight sets by 6-1, 6-4. Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi had exited from the doubles after suffering second-round defeats with their respective partners. In the Men's Singles, Somdev Devvarman had lost to world number one Novak Djokovic in the third round.
