The Indo-American pair of Sania Mirza and Bethanie Mattek-Sands will take on Jarmila Gajdosova and Sabine Katharina Lisicki on Monday night in the women's doubles second round of the prestigious WTA Sony Open Tennis tournament. In the first round at Miami, the seventh seeded duo had defeated Eva Birnerova and Varvara Lepchenko 7-5 6-3 in one hour and 21 minutes.Meanwhile, at the ATP Miami Masters event, India's Somdev Devvarman has bowed out of the men's singles. In the third round yesterday, Somdev suffered a 2-6, 4-6 straight sets defeat against world number one and defending champion Novak Djokovic. In the doubles event also, Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi crashed out with their respective partners.Rohan Bopanna is now the only Indian surviving in the men's doubles with Rajeev Ram. The unseeded Indo-American unseeded pair is up against second seed Spaniards Lopez Marc and Granollers Marcel.
