The duo of Sania Mirza and Cara Black have begun their 2014 campaign with a shock first round defeat at the WTA Apia International tounament. In Sydney today, the third seeded Indo-Zimbabwean duo lost against the wild card pair of Jarmila Gajdosova and Ajlaat Tomljanovic. The Australian-Croatian combination won in straight sets 6-3, 6-2. Sania and Cara will now compete at the first Grand Slam, the Australian Open, from Monday.
