The BJP has alleged that the wrong policies of Union Government are responsible for the present situation of Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing media persons in Jammu today, the National General Secretary, BJP, Mr. Arun Jaitley said that before taking any initiative on Kashmir problem, Central Government must realize that giving any relaxation to the separatist forces in the State would not be in national interest. Criticizing the Government for having discriminatory attitude towards Jammu and Ladakh regions, the BJP leader urged it for setting up Regional Councils for the equitable economic development of these regions.
