At the London Olympics on Friday, India's male wrestlers will begin their campaign in a short while from now. While grappler Amit Kumar will compete in the 55 Kilogram freestyle category, Narsingh Pancham Yadav will take the field in the men's 74 kilogram category.

The United States lead the medals tally with a haul of 39 Gold, 25 Silver and 26 Bronze. China are at the second spot with 37 Gold, 24 Silver and 19 Bronze. Hosts Great Britain are holding on to the third spot with 25 Gold, 14 Silver and 14 Bronze.

With 1 Silver and 3 Bronze medals, India are at the joint 48th position, tied with Slovakia.
