Suspense over Pakistan's participation in the World Twenty20 was over today with the country's government clearing its national cricket team's departure to India for the mega-event. The Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shaharyar Khan had earlier told that a detailed report was sent to the Interior Ministry on the security assurances received from the ICC and the BCCI. The ministry was also briefed about the security situation and arrangements for the Pakistan team by the Pakistan High Commissioner in New Delhi.<br/><br/>The PCB chief said the assurances given by Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh that Pakistan would be given full security and the World T20 would be held smoothly, were positive developments. Pakistan's men team is slated to play against India at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata on March 19 after the venue was shifted from Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, India has made all necessary arrangements for all participating countries including security of the participants in the forthcoming ICC World T-20 in the country.
