In ICC World T-20, Afghanistan beat Scotland by 14 runs in a Group-B Qualifier at Nagpur last night. Opting to bat, Afghanistan compiled 170 for 5, with Mohammad Shahzad scoring 61, and skipper Asghar Stanikzai making an unbeaten 55.In reply, Scotland could only make 156 in the stipulated 20 overs. Spinner Rashid Khan bagged 2 wickets for Afghanistan. Shahzad was adjudged man of the match. Earlier in the day, Zimbabwe defeated Hong Kong by 14 runs.Today, in the Group-A qualifiers, Bangladesh will take on the Netherlands, and Ireland will meet Oman. Both the matches will be played in Dharamsala. The Bangladesh-Netherlands match will kick-off at 3 PM, while the Ireland-Oman clash is slated for 7:30 PM.The Super-10 stage of the tournament will begin on Tuesday, with hosts India taking on New Zealand at Nagpur.Meanwhile, the much-awaited India-Pakistan match will be held as scheduled in Dharamsala. This was announced by Tournament Director MV Sridhar in New Delhi yesterday after a meeting with Special Secretary Internal Security in the Home Ministry. He said, the state and central governments are onboard and all security arrangements have been made. Mr Sridhar, however, said some issues are yet to be sorted out.
