Stock markets across the world have risen sharply as hopes increased of a new plan to deal with the Eurozone debt crisis. French Cac index ended up 5.7%, Germany's Dax was 5.3% higher and UK's FTSE rose by 4%. Shares in New York have also risen amid speculation that the European bail-out fund will be greatly expanded with the help of European Central Bank.
