A weeklong FIDE World Rapid & Blitz Chess Championship gets underway in Dubai today. More than 100 Grandmasters from 45 countries are taking part in the tournament. Former World Number One Vishwanathan Anand and the reigning world champion Magnus Carlsen are the star attractions at the championship. Sixteen of the top 20 Grandmasters in international Chess will take part in two separate championships, rapid and blitz rounds.
