Along with International Day of Yoga today, the world is celebrating 'World Music Day' all over. World Music Day was first celebrated in France in 1982. The aim was to celebrate a day with free and live music everywhere from streets to gardens. It is celebrated on the day of the summer solstice, 21st of June. The first World Music Day was celebrated in 1982 in France after the government announced June 21 as a National holiday on account of Fête De La Musique (festival of music).<br />”<br />”For tons of music lovers around the world, this is a special day. It honours musicians around the world and their contribution towards making everything all that more melodious.
