India Colts continued their good form as they rallied to beat England 5-3 in their second Pool D match of the men's Junior Hockey World Cup at the Major Dhyan Chand Astroturf stadium in Lucknow on Saturday.England players made some fine moves initially and soon reaped benefits of their attacks. Clee put England ahead 1-0 in the 10th minute of the game by scoring a fine goal. After conceding an early goal, Indian players got their act together and initiated some good back-to-back attacks. They got their first penalty corner in the 23rd minute but couldn't score. But Parvinder's instinctive hit restored parity for India a minute later.India earned two successive PCs towards the closing stages of the first half. Varun and Harmanpreet tried a fine variation but the latter's stunning drag-flick just went wide of the right post.England, who wasted their first two PCs after their players failed to stop the ball properly for the striker, finally scored their third goal of the match via short corner through Horler in the 64th minute.India will next play South Africa in their last pool match on Monday.
