Today is the World Hospice and Palliative Care Day. The day is observed to spread awareness about the need to give quality care of people living with life limiting illness and reduce their pain and sufferings. The theme for this year is sharing the care to highlight the role of individuals, community and family members as well as health professionals. AIR correspondent says that the Delhi’ s National Initiative in Palliative Care, DNipCare is providing home care to a number of bed ridden and terminally ill patients.
