Ministry of External Affairs celebrated World Hindi Day programme in virtual mode today. In a video message, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Hindi plays an important role in the communication of Indian knowledge and culture. He said, the increasing use of Hindi in the field of information and its popularity among the youth presents a bright future. In his message, &nbsp;External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar said, they are constantly moving towards the goal of taking Hindi on the global stage.<br />”<br />”The program was presided over by Minister of State for External Affairs, Meenakshi Lekhi.
