The Minister of State for External Affairs, Praneet Kaur today launched the Logo and website of the 9th World Hindi Conference to be held in Johanesburg from 22nd to 24th September, this year. Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Praneet Kaur said, the Website: www.vishwahindisammelan.nic.in provides all information on the World Hindi Conference. She also said that all efforts are being made to attract the youth and the students to gain expertise in Hindi language.

The main theme of the conference is 'Bhasha Ki Asmita Aur Hindi Ka Vaishvik Sandarbh'. The Member of Parliament, Satyavrat Chaturvedi who spoke on the occasion, said that in a changing world, language forms the political and cultural identity of a person. He also said, India has earned a respected place in the world through achievements in various fields.
