The annual World Future Energy Summit is set to begin in UAE’s capital, Abu Dhabi from Monday. More than 98 government delegations are expected to attend the summit along with another 1,400 business leaders.<br/><br/>The Indian Minister of New and Renewable Energy, Dr Farooq Abdullah, will address the Energy Minister’s Round Table of the Plenary Forum on World Future Energy Policy in the Summit on Monday.<br/><br/>The summit will identify energy solutions that address today’s concerns with the environment, climate change, and energy security.<br/><br/>Organizer of the summit, Masdar CEO, Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber said ,the summit provides an ideal platform for the world to collaborate on the development and adaptation of clean energy technology. He added that by bringing together governments, businesses and academia at the World Future Energy Summit, it is possible to develop practical solutions to tackling the threats of climate change.<br/><br/> During the one week summit more than 600 exhibitors will also have displays showcasing cutting-edge technologies in the area of sustainable energy.
