World Environment Day will be celebrated across the world tomorrow. On the occasion Nagaland Governor PB Acharya while extending greetings to the people of the State, expressed the hope that the day will give thrust to the commitment towards preservation and protection of the pristine environment.<br/> '<br/>In a message, the Governor opined that the people of Nagaland have been living in harmony with nature since time immemorial. However, he lamented that hasty and unrestrained industrialization, urbanization and increased human intervention have resulted into degradation of environment leading to serious climate conditions and global warming. <br/><br/>The Governor appealed to all departments and agencies, educational institutions, nature lovers, industrialists, corporates, traders, NGOs to come forward and protect the environment for a better future generation.
