Today is the World Disability Day. This is observed to draw attention of Governments and the society towards the problems of the handicapped community. This occasion gives an opportunity to the community to express its solidarity with the disabled people. In Delhi, a series of functions have been organised to mark the day. The President Pratibha Devisingh Patil will present National Awards for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities in the National Capital.<br/>
