The World Cup T20 Championship gets underway in the Caribbean islands of West Indies today. Twelve teams are participating in the 17 day long tournament. New Zealand will take on Sri Lanka in the opening game and host West Indies will meet Ireland later in the day. India placed in Group C along with South Africa and Afghanistan will begin their campaign on Saturday when they take on Afghanistan.
