World Cup: Pakistan win toss; opts to bat

Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi have won the toss and chose to bat first against Sri Lanka in the ICC Cricket world cup at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo in a Day-Night Group 'A' encounter.Yesterday, defending champions Australia dished out a clinical display to outplay New Zealand in a group 'A' match. The Aussies notched up a comprehensive seven-wicket victory with 16 overs to spare, to record their second consecutive win. Mitchell Johnson who claimed four wickets was declared the Man of the Match. In an another match in Mirpur yesterday, co-hosts Bangladesh snatched a 27-run win over a fighting Ireland.
