Earlier, formidable Spain started their hockey World Cup campaign on a perfect note, beating South Africa 4-2 in the inaugural match.Spain scored two goals in both the halves through Roc Oliva, Miquel Delas, Rodrigo Garza and Pau Quemada. While for South Africa Julian Hykes and Ian Haley hit one goal each.
