Five time world chess champion GrandMaster Viswanathan Anand and his challenger Magnus Carlsen will resume their third game today. In the earlier two games, both Anand and Carlsen ended up in a draw surprisingly in less than two hours. Anand has gained 2.6 rating points and has climbed up from the ninth to the sixth place in the live world ranking list.In the International Woman Grandmaster Open Chess tournament, second seed Nino Batsiashvilli of Georgia and the two Indians Mary Ann Gomes seeded third and Swathi Ghate seeded 13th shared the lead at the end of the eighth round of the tournament.In the under 9 Category, eight games are over. Brigyananada, Nihalsen and Dhanush have scored seven points and are leading.In the girls section of under 9 Mridull,Divya and Aarushi are leading with seven points.
