The inaugural ceremony of the World Chess Championship 2014 takes place in Sochi, Russia, today. The competition in the 12-game title match between the current World Champion, Magnus Carlsen of Norway, and challenger Viswanathan Anand of India, to determine the 2014 World Chess Champion will begin tomorrow.The first game will start at 5.30 p.m. Indian Time, tomorrow. The first player to attain Six and a Half points will become world champion. The championship is being held under the auspices of the World Chess Federation (FIDE) .
