The 20th edition of the New Delhi World Book Fair is attracting a large number of book lovers today. The book fair, which began in Pragati Maidan in New Delhi yesterday, has Indian cinema as its theme this time. An exhibition titled “Point of View” is being organised in the fair to commemorate 100 years of Indian cinema.
Gramophones, reel and old movie cameras displayed in the Film Pavillion have become a hit with visitors. Film and Television Actor Sushma Seth also visited the Films Pavillion today.
The fair is featuring 1300 exhibitors from across the world. The foreign publishes participating in the event to showcase their books on various subjects include Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Germany, China, France, Iran and Britain.
