World Bank report projects fundamental changes in global economy

Projecting fundamental changes in global economy, a World Bank report has said that India along with five major emerging economies will account for more than half of all global growth by 2025. The report said that by 2025, six major emerging economies, India, Brazil, China, Indonesia, South Korea, and Russia will account for more than half of all global growth, and the international monetary system will likely no longer be dominated by a single currency. Report's lead author Mansoor Dailami also projected a multi-currency scenario in 2025 centred on dollar, euro and Yuan. Describing the projected changes in the global economy as fundamental, he said these shifts will likely be positive for developing countries.
