The World Bank has provided three million dollars for protecting tigers in Nepal. The fund will be spent under Strengthening the Regional Cooperation for Wildlife Protection Project. The project will run for four years focusing on conserving tiger habitat, controlling, poaching and illegal trade and supporting research. AIR correspondent reports that according to latest figures Nepal has 155 tigers.
