The World Bank has approved a 117.70 million US Dollar International Development Association credit for improving the quality and access to health services in Tamil Nadu. The World Bank said the loan is an additional financing to the Tamil Nadu Health Systems Project, which was approved on December 16th, 2004, with an IDA credit amount of 110.83 million USD. The world BNK said, Tamil Nadu had made significant strides in improving the health status and increasing access to health care services in the last decade.
