World Badminton Championships: Sindhu, Jayaram & Praneeth to play for pre-quarterfinals berths today

PV Sindhu, Ajay Jayaram and B Sai Praneeth are among the many Indian shuttlers who will play for pre-quarterfinal berths of World Badminton Championships at Glasgow in Scotland today.In Women's Singles second round, Sindhu, who is placed 4th in the tournament, will take on the unseeded South Korean Hyo Min Kim. Saina Nehwal will play her match later.In Men's Singles opening round, 13th seed Jayaram will meet Luka Wraber of Austria, while 15th placed Praneeth will face Nan Wei of Hong Kong. Kidambi Srikanth and Sameer Verma have already made it to Round-2.Seven Indian pairs in Men's, Women's and Mixed Doubles will also be seen in action in the second round today. Ashwini Ponnappa will figure in both Women's and Mixed Doubles. She is pairing with N. Sikki Reddy in the Women's section, while in Mixed Doubles, her team-mate is B. Sumeeth Reddy.
