Both players stormed into the Women's Singles semi-finals yesterday to assure India of at least two Bronze medals. While fourth seed Sindhu defeated fifth placed Yu Sun of China, 21-14, 21-9, 12th seed Saina beat local girl Kirsty Gilmour, 21-19, 18-21, 21-15.Both shuttlers will play their semi-final matches today. Sindhu, the Rio Olympics Silver medalist, will take on China's Yufei Chen, while Saina, who won a Bronze at the London Olympics, will face higher-placed Nozomi Okuhara of Japan.
