Srikant beat Anders Antonsen of Denmark 21-14, 21-18 in the men's singles pre-quarter finals. PV Sindhu defeated Cheung Ngan Yi of Hong Kong 19-21, 23-21, 21-17. Ajay Jayaram who beat Netherland's Mark Caljouw, is now clashing with two-time defending champion Chinese Chen Long in men's singles pre- quarter finals event.Long was leading 2-8 when results last came in. Sai Praneeth will clash with Chou Tien Chen of Taiwan later today. Pranaav Jerry Chopra vs Parveen Jordan of Indonesia match is also scheduled for later in the day.The Women's singles pre-quarter finals match between N. Sikki Reddy and Debby Susanto of Indoneasia is now in progress. The match is evenly contested 20-22, 21-18, 21-18. Saina Nehwal will clash with Sung Ji Hyun of South Korea later today.
