Kidambi Srikanth has bowed out of the Men's Singles event of the World Badminton Championships. In the quarterfinal at Glasgow today, he went down fighting in straight games to World No. One, Son Wan Ho of Korea 21-14, 21-18, in a 49-minute clash.Srikanth had emerged as India's best bet at the tournament after he clinched back-to-back titles at Indonesia and Australia and a final finish at the Singapore Open.Top Indian shuttlers Saina Nehwal and P V Sindhu will play their quarterfinals of the World Badminton Championship in the singles events at the Emirates Arena, in Glasgow later today.London Olympics bronze medalist Saina who had won a silver in the last edition will clash with Scotish Kirsty Gilmour in the women's single event. In another quaterfinals, P.V. Sindhu, who twice won a bronze medal at the 2013 and 2014 edition will clash with the fifth seed Sun Yu of China.
