In Gujarat, the first ever national level workshop on mangroves has started at Bhuj this morning.Jointly organized by the Union Ministry of Science and Technology and the Forest Department the Gujarat, the two-day workshop is being attended by the mangroves and forest experts from many states.AIR Bhuj correspondent reports that experts stressed on the need to conserve the mangroves to ease the costal disasters like tsunami, sea rising, cyclones and earthquakes.
