A two day long workshop to review the implementation plans on bringing Green Revolution to eastern region has began in Kolkata today. <br/><br/>The Union Finance Minister Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, Union Agriculture Minister Mr. Sharad Pawar will attend the valedictory session tomorrow. <br/><br/>Our Kolkata Correspondent reports that Chief Ministers and Agriculture Ministers of West Bengal, Bihar, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand and Orissa will, also take part in the tomorrow’s session. <br/><br/>The workshop is mainly discussing ways and means to increase agricultural production in the eastern States to meet the growing demands for food.
