Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh has said the government is committed to double the income of the farmers by 2022 and working on a five-points agenda to achieve it. Talking exclusively to All India Radio Mr Singh, said various steps taken by the government recently like Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana and National agriculture E -market will help farmers to improve their income. <br/><br/>Talking on the three-day Krishi Unnati Mela, which will BE held in Delhi from tomorrow the Minister said, the main aim of the Mela is to create an awareness among farmers about new technologies, demonstration of new crop varieties and government's initiatives in the farm sector.
