Work on Udhampur- Srinagar- Baramulla Rail Link Project(USBRL) is in progress  and out of  272 Kms of this National Project,  161 kms has been commissioned. <br />''<br />''This was stated by General Manager, Northern Railway Aushtosh Gangal while talking exclusively to DD News in Jammu today. <br />''<br />''He  said that  first two phases of the project  viz  136 km long Qazigund-Barammulla  and  Banihal – Qazigund  and  25 km long 2nd phase Udhampur- Katra have  already been completed and commissioned. <br />''<br />''Railway General Manager said that at present the work is going on third phase of this project Katra  – Banihal  which is   the most tough part of this project. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">He said Rs. 28,000  crore  project  is expected to be completed by  the end of  2022 adding   when completed this will be a engineering marvel of 21st century.</span><br />
