Restoration work on the twin tracks of Central Railway's Kalyan-Kasara route is being carried out at a rapid pace following a collision between a local EMU train and Vidarbha Express near Nashik, last night.According to Central Railway sources, the relief staff of Central Railway and other agencies are working hard to re-establish the rail-contact between Mumbai and a large part of central India by tomorrow.Several trains plying on the route have been either diverted, cancelled or partially suspended.The Minister of state for Railways, K.H. Muniyappa visted the site of the accident to oversee the rescue and relief operations. Three people have lost their life in the mishap while 31 others are injured.
