Flight operations on both runways of India’s second busiest Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai have been closed for five hours from 11.30 a.m. for proposed expansion and reconstruction work.

According to a statement issued by the Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) this has been done for setting up Rapid Exit Taxiway Lights to enhance runway efficiency.
